Known for her adventurous spirit and undying love for people, Nala captures hearts everywhere she goes. Nala’s story begins in Seongju, Gyeongbuk, where she was rescued from a Bichon puppy mill that was part of a distressing cycle of abuse. Thankfully, our rescue partner and other rescue organizations stepped in to save over 240 dogs, with Nala being one of the fortunate 21 to escape this harsh reality. Now, she’s safe and awaiting a new chapter with a caring family who understands the patience and love needed to nurture a puppy mill survivor.

People Lover: Nala adores human interaction. Whether it’s a gentle touch or playful affection, she thrives on human contact and always seeks more. Her favorite trick? Burying her face in you when you pet her—her way of asking for even more love!
Dog-Friendly: She gets along wonderfully with other dogs her size, always ready to make friends and play. While she hasn’t met any medium or large dogs yet, her friendly demeanor suggests she’ll likely be just as welcoming.
Child-Friendly: Although Nala hasn’t yet met children, her gentle nature and playful disposition make her a likely good match for families with kids similar in size or smaller.
Easy Grooming: Cleaning Nala’s ears or combing her eyes? She handles grooming like a champ, accepting any care with ease and even enjoys the process!
Active and Curious: Nala’s curiosity knows no bounds. Recently, she even managed to conquer her kennel in a moment of adventure! She’s the perfect companion for someone who appreciates a dog with a zest for life.
Training and Manners: Nala is on her way to becoming a pro with pee pads, although there’s still some room for improvement. She’s crate trained—just toss in a snack and she’ll happily go in. Plus, she’s okay with leashing for afternoon walks.
