June
Meet June! June’s story began under heartbreaking circumstances when his family was abandoned at a weekend farm that had been shut down. His mother, suffering from severe malnutrition, passed away, leaving young June alone and in despair. Fortunately, our rescue partners were able to stepped in after receiving an urgent call about June’s situation. When rescued, June was in critical condition with severe inflammation and extensive skin damage. Thanks to dedicated medical care and the support of many, June’s health has greatly improved. His once-dull eyes now sparkle with life, and he’s gradually growing a healthy coat. June is now ready to embrace a new, brighter chapter in his life!
June is a curious and affectionate dog who adapts well to new environments. Although he may initially feel shy in a new environment, he quickly gains confidence and becomes active and lively. June enjoys playing with furry friends and then relaxing on soft blankets and cushions. With People – June is friendly and gets along well with people, especially if given time to adjust. He loves receiving affection and will often seek more attention from his human companions. It’s best to introduce him to new people gradually. With Other Dogs – June enjoys playing with other dogs and is very sociable. He approaches new canine friends with enthusiasm. However, he might be overwhelming for shy dogs, so some manners training could help him interact more smoothly with all kinds of canine personalities. Activity Level June prefers outdoor potty breaks and will benefit from at least two walks a day. Multiple short walks or engaging in tug-of-war games, which he loves, will keep him happy and healthy!
June is crate trained and is getting better with outdoor potty training, though he may need some continued support to perfect it. He prefers not to be confined for long periods, so using treats or toys to make the crate a positive space can help him adjust. He also has car sickness, so if you plan to hit the road with June – please start with a short distance and let him gradually adjust to car rides!
June’s skin is improving, but he will need weekly medicated baths to maintain his condition. While his skin is healing, some areas may remain bare. He experiences severe motion sickness, so taking breaks during long car trips is necessary. Aside from this, June is in good health.
June needs a loving family that can spend ample time with him, as he deeply values companionship and affection. He thrived in a supportive environment, and having a family who can engage in activities and create joyful memories with him would be ideal. June enjoys soft blankets and cushions, so having these ready will help him settle in comfortably. He can be happy as the only pet or with other dogs, as long as introductions are handled carefully. June is patiently waiting!
