Brief Bio:

Meet Mango! ? Mango is an adorable 2-3yr old Lhasa/Shihtzu mix girl who is looking for a foster home or better yet a forever home! Mango loves to cuddle and be around her people, she is good with dogs and is an overall sweet and easy going girl. Mango is about 12-15lbs, good with dogs! We are looking for a home that will continue to show her what it means to be in a home. Mango was debarked before she came into rescue ? Aside from that she is a normal happy sweet girl just looking for a family to call her own! Mango is patiently waiting! ?⁣

"Penny has settled beautifully into our lives and is now the 6th member of our family! She has added so much fun to our every day and we are so excited to call her ours! She enjoys our many outings as a family and LOVES to cuddle up in bed with our 7-year old for the night. Not only has she brought joy to our lives, she has also been great at teaching our older children responsibility as they are the ones who manage the daily care of Penny (with parental oversight of course). Love And Second Chances was such a wonderful organization to work with. From the first interaction with Melody all the way through our meeting with Penny's foster mom, KiKi. Penny came to us very healthy with all of her vaccinations and she received a clean bill of health from our vet. She is wonderful with kids of all ages, walks great on a leash and is one of the best-behaved dogs anywhere we go! We were a bit nervous about adopting a dog from another country, but Penny was exactly as Melody described and she couldn't be more perfect for our family!"

How to help?

If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
