No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
“Hi Melody, Bobby (Jacob) is doing great! It is 6 weeks today since I brought him home and I couldn’t be happier. The first couple of weeks were rough as he was basically a newborn and had to be taught everything. He is learning his boundaries in the house as far as what he can and cannot do; he is sleeping in his crate at night; he has mastered the back stairs to the yard (yay!!). Going up he learned pretty quick but I had to carry him down and now he races up and down! He also hasn’t had a potty accident in the house for a couple of weeks now (yay!!). We go for walks at least two to three times a day and he loves it! He can be stubborn but he’s so darn cute and everyone loves him. -Brenda”
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
