Meet Yeseul! Yeseul is an adorable 2 year old Jindo mix. She is such a sweet, loving dog. Yeseul’s very curious and doesn’t seem to be afraid of anything. She’s also very food motivated and will do anything to please you! Yeseul is highly trainable – she has already learned sit, down, come, touch, and look at me in a few day’s time and is currently working on impulse control, such as wait and leave it.

She could use more loose leash walk training, but already does not pull too hard. She is quite athletic and does well on short hikes and runs, but she will also quickly settle down and cuddle with you if you’re relaxing at home. Yeseul easily falls asleep on her bed or on your lap if invited. She’s also happy to go into her crate and has slept there all night. Yeseul’s good in car rides and is also OK with baths.

Because of her high prey drive, she would do best in a home without cats or other small animals. She is friendly towards other dogs and humans (including kids), but can be wary of some men initially. She has exhibited a bit of resource guarding with her bed and her human(s), but can be easily corrected with food. As long as Yeseul is taken outside within a few hours of eating or drinking, she will not have an accident indoors.

Yeseul is extremely affectionate and cuddly, even more so once she warms up to you (which is usually pretty quickly!). Within 24 hours, she was rolling over and letting her foster parents rub her belly. She absolutely loves being around her humans, and has no separation anxiety when left alone at home. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, energetic companion, Yeseul is the dog for you!

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Yeseul is patiently waiting!
