Meet Taz! Taz is a adorable 6 year old Bichon Frise. He is an independent guy who is timid and skittish. Taz need to be isolated in an area where he can observe everything going on.  He will come out to mingle when he is ready even then, he is still very cautious.

Once Taz decides to sit on your lap, you’ll have a hard time making him move.  He likes to roam with  his foster brothers and sister and cuddles with them but he is not attached.  He is independent and will explore on his own and be mischievous by himself.  He likes to go for walks and is quite a sprinter when spooked, so hold on tight to the leash and make sure that backyard is well fenced.

Due to his skittish nature, Taz is best with mature kids. He does have separation anxiety, so it’s best he is not left alone too long nor apartment settings.  Taz is best with someone who is home often and be willing to spend the time to help him build his confidence. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Taz is patiently waiting!
