Meet BaDook! BaDook was kept tied outside on a short leash by her previous owner to guard a residence located near a train station, subjected to harsh noise conditions. BaDook’s doghouse was in a dilapidated state, infested with bugs and spider webs. Upon first encounter, the rescuer immediately noticed how sweet and friendly BaDook was. Given the proximity to a train station, BaDook garnered affection from many passersby. She adored all the people she met, including young children.

However, the living conditions were far from ideal for BaDook, as she was neglected by her owner who failed to provide her with clean water and proper food. According to the owner, BaDook had given birth twice in 2022. Upon discovering BaDook’s pregnancy, the rescuer, with the owner’s consent, successfully rescued BaDook’s five puppies born in November 2023. However, the owner expressed a desire to retain BaDook to continue breeding more puppies. After persistent efforts, BaDook was ultimately rescued in early February 2024.

BaDook is an exceptionally friendly and affectionate dog. She displays remarkable trust and affection towards people, readily approaching for petting. BaDook possesses a bright, sweet, and amiable disposition. BaDook thoroughly enjoys her walks on a leash and delights in meeting new people and dogs. She generally gets along well with other dogs and enjoys playful interactions with them.

BaDook behaves well towards young children thus far and has even cohabited with a cat without displaying any signs of aggression. However, she would likely thrive better in a cat-free environment. Having spent her life giving birth and enduring subsequent loss, it is the rescuer’s fervent wish for BaDook to find a forever home where she will be cared for and loved unconditionally.

We are looking for a home that has patience and will allow Badook the time she needs to adjust and give her the full opportunity to learn what it means to be in a loving home. Badook is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
