Meet Carrot (aka Danggeun)! Carrot is an adorable 2 year old Jindo/corgi/retriever mix. Carrot’s mom, Millie, was rescued from a dog slaughterhouse in South Korea and gave birth in the back of the rescuer’s SUV the day of getting rescued! We are so grateful Millie along with her puppies got out and escaped a horrible fate. Carrot has since been living in a private shelter with his mom and siblings.

Carrot is energetic and very needy once he warms up to you. He can be a bit shy and skittish when meeting new people, but with time and patience he’ll warm up to you and his sweet personality will shine. He has not shown any signs of aggression with people or other animals. Carrot even gets along with dogs of all sizes!
This sweetie loves to sunbathe and take a nap on the grass. He knows how to catch treats very well when rescuers toss them in the air for him. Carrot is very lovable and obedient towards you once you bond with him.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. A home with a yard would be ideal since he loves to sunbathe so much! Carrot is patiently waiting!
