Meet Frank! Frank is an adorable 4.5 year old Miniature Poodle. Frank is an adorable, active and attentive puppy with lots of energy. He enjoys numerous rounds of fetch and tug wars. He likes to chew on his soft toys, squeaky balls, nyla bones and play rope.  He is curious and wants to be the first to peek into each delivery box, drawers and cabinet doors around the house.    When not playing, he will quietly lay in his bed while his foster parents work from home.  Frank is a good watch dog as he will bark and alert his foster parents when there are people approaching the house. He is highly food motivated and has already learned to sit, stay and give a hand shake!

Frank will be best in a household with adults due to his tendency to jump up and play rough. Frank will need an owner who is loving and knows how to set boundaries. Frank will thrive with continued positive training. He has the qualities to excel in agility because he is smart, attentive, energetic, can jump high and run fast.  He wants to be near his human friend, so it will be best for him to join a household where someone will be home with him during the day.  Frank really wants to try human food and will give expressive eye contacts, gentle face rub and light paw pats to beg for food. His owner will need to be prepared to resist his heart melting tactics to get human food.

He is crate trained, but prefers staying in his playpen when left alone, so he can play with all his toys.  Having access to a fenced yard will be ideal, but he will do fine in apartment settings if his owner can take him out for walks and runs regularly. Due to his curiosity and ability to run fast, Frank must be leashed at all times when outdoors!

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Frank is patiently waiting!
