Meet Rubie! Rubie and her littermates were found abondaned on the remote mountain. Rubie is one very sweet and affectionate young girl, with a cute-look! She is full of curiosity, but also very cautious. Before taking actions, she would first assess the situation; therefore, she seldom ran into trouble. She is aimed to please, responds to recall well; also very food motivated, so is easy to train. She is close to human, not shy with strangers including older kids, dogs, and cats. She would follow foster mom around and keep her human company if she is felt needed. She could be a bit wary around unfamiliar places, and usually stays away from big dogs, but able to adapt quickly with the help of yummy treats.
Rubie is loving by nature, she will be a great companion pet for any type of family, or family looking for sibling of the existing dog. About Rubie’s rescue: Rubie and her three siblings were deserted at a rundown shed in a suburban mountain. It was during the rainy monsoon season and there was no sight of their mother. Being aware of the dire condition they were facing, the rescuer had no choice but to find a safe foster place for them. Rubie is a playful, goofy young pup who adores kids, other dogs, and being by your side. She’s easy to train, knows “sit” and “paw,” and is potty trained (outside or on a pee pad). She walks decently on a leash and enjoys car rides.
Rubie can be shy with strangers or unfamiliar dogs at first, but once she trusts you, she’s all cuddles and love. She’s very food-motivated—keep food and shoes out of reach—and needs chew toys to keep her busy. She eats separately to avoid gulping her meals too fast. This sweet, funny shadow will bring lots of joy to her forever home. Rubie is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
