Meet Miles! Miles was found in the driveway of his current home and had no tags. The home had him for a few hours while they tried to find his owner. During this time they noticed how sweet he was and they played with him, fed him etc. They found his owners who lives 3 doors down, but Miles would showed up at their house every day and would scratch on their front door to let him in. They noticed he was underweight, and had a ton of pent up energy from being couped up in the house all day. It was clear that he was not getting the care and attention he needs and his owner knew that as well. She ended up surrendering Miles because she did not have the time to take care of him sadly.
Miles would do best in a home with people who like to be outdoors who can give him daily walks and play fetch. Someone who is patient and can continue his training activities. He loves learning new tricks and does so well when he’s gotten the attention and exercise he needs. He loves to be around people and dogs, so he would do great in a home with another dog his size to play with. He does not do well with being left alone for 10 hours a day (like his previous owner). He’s the sweetest boy who needs a loving caring family.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Miles is patiently waiting!
