Meet Happy! Happy is a little shy and skittish around new people, but once she gets used to you, she is a bright, joyful, and playful dog. She enjoys walks and treats. She walks nicely by your side and follows training well, especially when treats are involved. She’s also great with recall and waiting. She is a moderate chewer, and likes bully sticks, too. Happy isn’t the kind of dog who loves everyone right away, but she is incredibly sweet and affectionate with her people! She loves sleeping next to her foster mom or dad, and enjoys getting her neck scratched and being petted. Like any dog in a new environment, she will take some time to understand who her new family is and that she has a new home. Until she bonds with you, please use extra caution in caring for her. She would do well with another calm, mid-level energy dog. A quiet, patient and loving home would be perfect for her.
