Fiona
Meet Fiona! Fiona was rescued from a puppy mill warehouse in Korea where conditions were very poor. Based on her behavior in her foster home, she likely had little to no positive human interaction in the past. She has made significant progress and now allows some petting on her own terms, though she remains unsure of tall people and men. If she feels uncomfortable, she may bark before retreating to a safe space. She doesn’t like being in enclosed spaces.
Fiona is an excellent napper and enjoys lounging on soft surfaces like dog beds, beds, or the couch. Her favorite part of the day is mealtime, and she gets very excited for food.
The ideal home for Fiona would be a patient, low-energy environment where she can be spoiled. She would likely do well with a patient dog sibling who can help her adjust. With the right family, her fosters believe Fiona could eventually become a very affectionate companion. Fiona is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
