Meet Baekmi! Baekmi was found abandoned from a farm house full of garbages. Baekmi gave birth in April 2024 to five but only one survived due to terrible environment. Her owner was an old man with dementia. The rescuer was able to rescue Baekmi and her daughter Seolgi. Seolgi met her forever family via LSC and now its Baekmi’s turn to have her OWN family. Baekmi is generally good with dogs. If she meets dogs with similar energy levels, she plays well. But if she meets a dog that she thinks don’t fit with her, she just ignores and decide to take rests. Baekmi don’t like young puppies that are too energetic. Baekmi would prefer calm dogs.
Baekmi is normally kept in her crate during rides. She stays pretty well but she doesn’t seem to enjoy it. She has been going on long rides for camping though Baekmi loves to eat!!!! She eats pretty much everything For meals, she stops eating once she is full. But she is very motivated with treats. Baekmi is shy when she meets new people. But she would aprroach to geet treats from them and opens up to strangers with treats. At several foster homes Baekmi tried to see how she would do at new environment, she did pretty well. It only took few days until she opened up.
Baekmi is patient and knows how to wait well and learns pretty fast. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog. Baekmi is patiently waiting!
