Meet Handsome! Handsome is a very sweet and lovable 2.5yr old Jindo mix who loves to be around his people. He is about 55lbs and is overall very easy going and friendly. Handsome was kept in a outside in a short chain almost all his life before ending up at the shelter.
Handsome is incredibly gentle and affectionate. He really loves the companion of people! Handsome is easily trained and will do good in a dog savvy home. Handsome loves people and is gentle with children. He is housebroken and knows how to sit and is currently learning “down” aka lay. He has an overall mellow personality in the house and is not destructive. Handsome likes to give kisses and receive lots of pets.
Handsome is ok with dogs but will resource guard treats and toys, so will be best as only dog. He does need ongoing socialization and leash training as he has some leash reactivity due to pent up stress when he was chained. He is still working on leash training and can be reactive with small animals and dogs (pulls very hard toward them). Other then that he is a very lovable boy who would make an amazing family member for the right family.
We are looking for a home who is dog savvy and understands the responsibilities of owning a dog as a member of their family. Handsome is patiently waiting!
