Meet Moru! On November 2025, our rescue partner visited the Jecheon City Animal Shelter, where every dog carried a different story of pain: bite wounds, untreated injuries, vision issues, and heartworm disease. Yet despite everything, they greeted us with wagging tails and cautious hope. Moru was one of them. For Moru, euthanasia is no longer an option. WEACT committed to her life and safety, and now she is ready to find her forever family.

Moru is a gentle, quiet soul. Naturally cautious at first, she reveals her true charm over time—soft, affectionate, and deeply loving once she feels safe. Her calm presence makes her a soothing companion to have by your side. Moru may feel nervous if approached suddenly, but with patience and respect for her space, she begins to seek closeness on her own. Once trust is built, she happily follows her people, leans into gentle touch, and shows her affectionate, sweet nature.

Moru generally gets along well with other dogs. She prefers calm, polite canine companions and may show mild discomfort if another dog is overly pushy. Slow, monitored introductions are recommended. Moru enjoys relaxed, slow walks and would do best with at least one calm walk per day. She is crate trained and appreciates a predictable, low-stress routine. She prefers outdoor elimination; if indoor potty training is needed, consistent guidance will help her adjust.

Moru tested heartworm-positive at rescue and has completed treatment. She is doing very well, though excessive running or high excitement should be avoided for a short recovery period as advised. Moru would thrive in a calm, gentle household that respects her pace and offers steady affection. She can adapt well to both apartments and houses. Moru would do fine as an only dog, but if there is another dog in the home, a calm and similarly tempered companion would be the best match.

Rescued from the brink of euthanasia, Moru was given a second chance at life—a miracle she truly deserved. Now, she is ready to share that life with a family who will cherish her, protect her, and love her for years to come. Moru is waiting for the one family meant just for her. Moru is patiently waiting!
