“Hi Melody! Just thought we’d check in after our first month together. Lucy is doing super awesome. She is learning to trust strangers and will go right on up to them. She has learned how to catch treats and has quite a few commands down. She is such a quick learner! It took a couple of tries and she learned roll over. Such a smarty pants. We’re working with a great trainer here in Davis, Cayce Wallace. Cayce’s philosophy is to teach dogs how to be verbal responders in any situation. We really enjoy her classes. We went on our first road trip last weekend up to Chico. Lucy met Bogey (my in-law’s dog). Bogey doesn’t really care for other dogs in his space and she handled it like a champ. She was very well behaved! I’ve attached a photo for you 🙂 We appreciate all that you have done for us and love having each other in our lives! Be well, jenn & lucy (formerly lulu)”

Brief Bio: Meet Lulu! Lulu was rescued as a stray, luckily for Lulu she ended up resting at the front door of one of our rescue partners. Lulu is a sweet girl who has a sweet temperament and is very affectionate. We are looking for a home that will give this beautiful girl a chance and show her what love is! Lulu is patiently waiting!
