craig home

UPDATE: We’re happy to share that handsome boy Craig now Wilbur has found his loving forever home! Craig is now living the good life getting all the love and attention he deserves. Enjoy your life Craig!

“Hi Melody, Matt and I wanted to thank you and Mary again for rescuing Wilbur and bringing him to us. He he is a very happy, well-mannered puppy. He’s already had quite the first week! We visited Point Isabel where we began off-leash training. He also met the family and had a great time at Easter lunch in Napa!

He’s such a good little guy and really knows his basic commands. We’re still working on potty training and we’ll begin puppy school in another month where we hope to teach him even more! Wilbur will be starting puppy daycare next week since he’s having a little bit of trouble being alone during the day. We think with some at-home training, daycare and puppy school, he’ll be the amazing dog we know he can be. We can’t wait to watch him grow! He’s found his forever home and we’re so excited to welcome him as one of the family. Thanks so much for all you do, Matt & Justine”

Brief Bio: Meet Craig! Craig is from a litter of 6 puppies. These beautiful puppies are friendly, sweet, and playful! They are now well care for in their foster home. They greet people with wagging tails and love to be held in your arms. They are happy puppies and love playing with the big dogs.

Their mother, Christelle, was found abandoned in front of a McDonalds. Christelle was starving and will go up to everyone coming out of McDonalds hoping that she can have some food. Poor girl was freezing on the street and no one gave her a helping hand. A kind security guard across the street gave her some leftover food and Christelle decided to stay nearby. Weeks went by and Christelle got pregnant. Christelle was struggling to survive and was found by another kind girl who lives nearby. The girl brought Christelle food everyday but is not able to bring all of them home as she has a dog-aggressive dog. The girl tried very hard to contact several rescue groups to see if they can help Christelle. Unfortunately, no one responded to her and Christelle was left on the street and gave birth to her beautiful puppies.

Craig’s foster mom heard their story and quickly went to the site to find them. When she saw them in such horrible condition, she knew it was urgent to bring the puppies and Christelle back to her home filled witha love and care. Christelle and her puppies grew up happily and are now patiently waiting for their own forever homes. We are looking for homes that understand the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. These wonderful puppies are patiently waiting.
