Betty – Adopted!

betty home

UPDATE: We’re happy to share that Betty has found her loving home forever home! This beautiful girl gets to enjoy the good life with a home to call her own and getting all the love and attention she deserves! Enjoy your life Betty!

“Hi Melody, Sorry I didn’t follow up sooner…but Betty has been keeping us busy! 🙂 She is doing great overall. She mostly ignores the cats, but occasionally just wants to play with them…..they are not too sure about her yet. Lol So far, our biggest issue is keeping her from eating the cat food.

Betty has enjoyed going to the park and smelling EVERYTHING!  She has her playful moments, but mostly wants to lay around near us (or on us). She is an awesome cuddlier. We gave Betty a bath today and she didn’t mind at all. Betty has already firmly established herself as part of the family- the first day she was already snoozing on the couch. I’m so glad that we have a chance to give this girl the love she deserves! We had considered changing her name, but Betty just fits her so well, so Betty she will forever be! We made that decision official today, by getting her an engraved name tag. 🙂

Thought you would like to see some (ok, several)  photos of Betty in her new HOME!! 🙂 Thank you for bringing this wonderful girl into our lives!! Kind Regards, Sarah and John”

Brief Bio: Meet Betty! Betty had a really sad past so we are really hoping this beautiful girl will soon find her perfect home. Betty was rescued from a breeding farm where she spent all her life in a filthy cage. Prior to rescue Betty had never taken a single step out of that cage, she spent her whole life there along with a male Golden where she was used repeatedly for breeding. When rescuers went in to save them her partner had already died. Poor Betty was emaciated, matted, and covered in urine, feces and fleas. Her skin had been rubbing against the cage for so long she had sores on her hips, arms and legs. Although Betty is up there in age we believe this beautiful girl still has lots of life to live. Betty needs a loving home that will give her lots of love and show her what life is really like. Betty is patiently waiting!
