Brief Bio:

Meet Mattie! Mattie was founded with his siblings as strays. Unfortunately some of his siblings did not make it due to harsh weather conditions, especially the rain and cold. Thankfully a rescuer found them and brought them in. Mattie is a very sweet and loving pup who would love nothing more than to find a family. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Mattie is patiently waiting!

ADOPTED!

"I’m happy to tell you that Mattie (now Soju) has found his forever home! We picked him up last Jan 4th from SFO and it took less than a week for him to warm up to our family. Thanks to Rando, our first adopted dog also from Love & Second Chances, who welcomed him with open arms and treated him like a little brother right from the start. He got him comfortable fast! These two love to chase each other in our backyard. Believe me, they get a lot of exercise when they’re together, that by 8:30 pm, they are done for the day.  Our cat Keo, on the other hand, is still trying to measure him up at this time. Mattie has not quite won him over but he will soon. He’s working on it.😊 Mattie is adorable, such a well behaved dog just like Rando. But while Rando is a ball of energy, Mattie is actually more laid back kind of a dog.  He’s very relaxed at our home. He loves sitting down (being on the down position) when he’s resting or observing things at home, or when he’s hanging out with my family.  He loves getting massages.  That was our ticket to get close to him—give him a massage!  It’s great to see that it all worked out well for Mattie, for Rando and for us. Keo will be on board soon. Thanks Melody and Eve for allowing us to have a sweet and smart dog like Mattie!"
