No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Batti! Batti was dumped at the flea market in a box with her littermates. They were very young and not able to jump out of the box, so they were left over night. The next morning, a lady found them and brought them to rescue. Batti is a very affectionate girl who would love nothing more than to find a home to call her own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Batti has since gotten a clean bill of health and is ready for her forever home. Batti is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody, Batti is now called Cora or Nala or Moose (depending on who's calling her). We really haven't agreed on a name quite yet. Oh what an important and rather impossible task between all of the opinions of this household!! Anyway. She is settling in quite fine and big guy Davey is getting used to her puppy behaviors. Tug with Davey, chewing on sticks and stuffies, chasing balls (and sometimes her tail), taking exploratory walks, and snuggling with her people seem to be her favorite activities. Sleeping through the night has been super easy for her and car rides in the crate are just a reason to take yet another soothing nap! She has gained 1.5 pounds and will HOPEFULLY get to be at least 20!! She's little and feisty and cute and we are lucky to have her in our lives. She has definitely made Davey more active at home and brought the family together every evening for puppy cuddle time!"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
