Meet Carina! Carina was rescued when she was found along with her littermate Chessy. The two dogs were abused and left chained outside in the rain and sun with no shelter or coverage. Both dogs ate only when the owners remembered to feed and often times only fed leftovers. One day the owners moved and left the two dogs without any food or water, Carina had given birth to 3 puppies at that time as well. Thankfully a rescuer was notified of their situation and was able to get the dogs and puppies to safety. When they were rescued both dogs were severely emaciated and it was a wonder how Carina was able to survive and nurse her babies to the best of her ability. We are looking for a home that will show Carina what it means to be in a family. Carina is patiently waiting for a home to call her own!
