Helping death-row, abused, and neglected dogs find forever homes. We do not discriminate by breed, age or special needs. As long as we’re capable of helping out, we will never say no!

Ivan – Adopted!

UPDATE: Ivan has been adopted!

“Hi Melody! He’s home to stay, love him so much! He’s my little shadow. I swore I’d never let pets on the furniture and especially not on the bed, but he sits next to me on the sofa and curls up in bed next to me.

He weighs 25 lbs now and is still growing. We had a vet check to finish his shots and learned that he has giardia, so he’s on meds for that now. We’re going to start working with a trainer soon. He’s mostly potty trained, and does sit very well. He knows what “no” means but that doesn’t mean he won’t try again. 😉 We’re working on stay and come. He has two dog friends we hang out with and take walks with. Best, Krista”

Brief Bio: Meet Ivan! Ivan was rescued along with his litter mates when they were found abandoned as newborn puppies. Thankfully a rescuer was able to find placement for his litter and they all went to the vet for a full check up. Ivan is a very sweet puppy who would love nothing more then to have a home to call his own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Ivan is patiently waiting!

How to help?

If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
