No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Toby! Toby is an adorable 2 year old King Charles spaniel. Toby was rescued from a puppy mill with his mom, Maple, where they were both being used for breeding. Poor guy never been outside his little rusted cage. Regardless of a rough start in life, Toby is full of energy and so optimistic! He absolutely loves other dogs and loves to play! When he first got rescue he was so happy to be able to receive toys and ran around playing with them. Toby is amazing with people and is a sweetheart all around. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Toby is patiently waiting!
“We renamed Toby and now call him Obi because his brown floppy ears make him look like Obi-Wan Kenobi in his Jedi robes. We are so lucky to be quarantined at home with such a snuggly boy! He loves to romp around with my four year old daughter but is equally happy hanging out with our fourteen year old daschund. He learned how to use the doggy door very quickly and sometimes just goes in and out for the sheer joy of being able to go where he wants. We are looking forward to when we are allowed to go on adventures beyond our neighborhood! Obi is a joy and makes our family feel complete. Melody, thank you so much for rescuing this playful, loving, goofy dog and for letting us be his forever home!”
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
