No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Terry! Terry was rescued as a stray in Jeju island. He was sitting by the side of a road and would follow people who passed by. He wags his tail and begs for food. Most times, he was kicked or shooed away by them until one day a lady took him in. She tried to find if any owners will claim him, but no one came by. At the time he was rescued, he emaciated. Now Terry is living in a foster home and receiving lots of love and attention. He is sooo sweet and loves humans. Whenever he’s on a walk, he would follow right next to you and look up to check in constantly. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Terry is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody, Roku is doing amazing. For the 1 month we have him so far, he's already much adjusted to our home an our routine. He showed so much love to us as well us to him. I just want to say thank you very much to you Melody, to Eunkyong, foster parents, and to everyone involved in the process from the beginning to getting Roku here safely. We are now very happily doing our shelter-in-place with Roku. We take Roku on walks 2-3x a day, and plenty of play time in the backyard. In silver lining, it's so much more bonding time with him and less crate time he has to be in. We are still planing to attend the obedient school once this virus is all over and business can run as normal."
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
