No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Qbi! Qbi was rescued from a puppy mill where she was used for breeding. Poor girl was forced to produce litters after litters regardless of her own health. Since being rescued, Qbi has been living the life! She is so spunky and lovable. Qbi loves to be with people and receiving attention. She’s good with other dogs too! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of the family. Qbi is patiently waiting!
She is currently being fostered in San Jose, CA
"Qbi is a 4-5 year old French Bulldog that we adopted on March 1, 2020. It was our first time having an adult dog join our family. We chose her because she is affectionate and good with kids and other dogs, and of course, deserves a good home. When we first met her, and over the first couple days at our home, she was mellow and reserved. We thought we got a low-energy, calm little dog. That soon changed! She came out of her shell, and showed us that she likes to play, run, bark, and inspect everything with her nose! She was housebroken after the first week, but we are still training her on everything else. It does take time and patience to train an adult dog, but we are making progress. She is motivated by cat treats! She is a cutie, and loves to meet other people and dogs on her daily walks. Thank you, Love & Second Chances, for your well-organized and dedicated team."
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
