No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Paul! Paul was admitted with 2 siblings(Pola and Polly) and their mom to Jeju Public shelter, the highest kill shelter in South Korea. Paul, Pola and Polly were pulled safely from the shelter. They had a cold from the shelter and have since gone through treatment. They are healthy puppies now! Paul is a mischievous pup with lots of puppy energy. Paul is a gentlemen with other dogs. When dogs tell him to back off, he understands and will avoid them. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of the family. Paul is patiently waiting!
"Hi Melody! Paul is doing great! We renamed him to Sowon (소원) which means "wish" in Korean. He was hesitant and cautious in the first two days, but quickly warmed up to us. He loves playing and running around our backyard, playing with his plush/squeaky toys, rolling around the grass, and going on walks. He loves treats and is very food motivated. Leash training is still in progress, but he's successfully learned commands such as "sit," "paw," "other paw," and "wait" in a short amount of time. Sowon is very intelligent and has brought nothing but joy to our family! We're very grateful and fortunate to have him. Thank you so much for all that you and your organization does to rescue dogs like him and for giving them a second chance."
