Brief Bio:

Meet Micky! Micky was rescued from the mountain roads with his littermate. Poor pups were likely dumped there from an unwanted litter. Mickey is playful and friendly with people, and really likes to play with water! He always put his 4 legs into his water bowl to play with it. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog. Mickey is patiently waiting!

"Hi Melody, We picked up Micky, now Finley, at the airport exactly three weeks ago. I had to double check the calendar twice because it seems like he has been with us for so much longer than that! I was so worried about him the day he traveled but the long flight from Taiwan didn’t seem to bother him. His crate was clean and he smelled delicious!
Finley truly has the most amazing temperament I’ve ever met in a dog! He is gentle, kind, sweet, loving, trusting, and cuddly! We felt confident that he would fit right into our home because of all the videos we received and the information we got from his rescuer in Taiwan, but he’s easier than we could’ve ever imagined! We’re having a blast teaching and showing him new things.
His big dog brother took longer to warm up to him than we hoped (he’s not a big fan of puppy energy) but they are coming along great. We give our 5 yr old dog space when he needs it and Finley is learning to calm when his big brother doesn’t want to play. Good dogs are great teachers. :)
We’re thrilled to have Finley in our lives! We can’t thank you enough for all the hard work you do for these animals!! It changes their lives AND OURS!! Thank you!!!"
