No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Mario was rescued in horrible shape after an extended period of neglect. Poor Mario was severely emaciated and suffering from secondary skin infection, fungal infection and demodex mange. Mario was part of a breeding facility and was dumped when they no longer needed him. Luckily for Mario a rescuer saw him and quickly rushed him to the vet where he got a full check up and started treatment. It took months but Mario was able to make it through and is now in a loving forever home! Thanks to the many supporters and sponsors who made his rescue possible!
Hi Melody: So sorry it has taken so long to write you back. It has been a very busy time for us lately. Our Mario is doing fantastic. He knows his people and loves them very much. He makes us all laugh all the time. Yet he is also a nice quiet boy too. He usually comes to work with me and sleeps and greets whoever comes in – but as soon as he enters the house – it’s game on – running and playing throughout the house. I can only say, we love him to pieces. He brings us joy and we laugh all the time. Here are some pics – I hope they come thru. Thanks much again for bringing us our little Mario – Toni & Rick
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
