No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Libby! Libby was rescued along with litter mates when they were dumped in a park with no food, water or shelter. The rescuer knows that if they were not rescued in time they would not survive. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a pup. Libby is patiently waiting for a home forever home!
"Things are going great with Libby (we changed her name to Luna) - she is loving, fun, and healthy. She is very food motivated and responds well to cues for sit, stay, lay down, twirl, shake, and we just started working on roll over. Having her in our lives has brought us all great joy - Thank you! Our biggest challenges so far have been strangers and other dogs (she is very nervous of both) and wanting to go on walks - she likes to stay home:). We start a puppy training class next week so looking forward to her meeting other dogs and people over a number of classes and weeks. Thank you again, Emily (and family)"
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
