No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet Karen! Karen was rescued with her siblings as strays. This little family found shelter at a small neighborhood park. Park goers contacted rescuer stating they’ve seen the there for a while already and they’re scared they won’t survive the incoming rain and cold weather. Thankfully we were able to get them all and bring the to the vet. These happy pups are now living the life in a foster home. They are all very rambunctious and loving pups. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Karen is patiently waiting!
“Hi Melody! Karen (now known as Luna) is doing well! She's a 7 month old FMD mix. We have had her for 1.5 months and I am amazed at how much progress she's made. At first she was skittish but now she's very comfortable around the home and going on walks. She really enjoys the dog park. She found her favorite spot in the home which is on the couch on top of 2 pillows. She also loves to stretch out. We are so happy with this match! Thank you!”
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
