No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Meet JP! JP was rescued along with his litter mates when they were found abandoned in a park with no shelter or food. Luckily for the puppies a rescuer spotted them and was able to get them all off the streets and to safety. JP is a sweet and handsome boy who would love nothing more then to have a home to call his own. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. JP is patiently waiting!
Thanks for helping us get Louie. He has been doing very well this past week. We have fallen in love with the little guy. We ake him to the Berkeley Marina daily, where he gets to play with other dogs. He always wants to be around us when at home. Whenever we go to another room, he follows us and lays down next to us. We were going to buy him a crate, but he loves one particular couch so much that we decided to let him have it. He sleeps there at night. He has a good appetite; we feed him 1 cup of food 3 x daily, which he finishes every last drop of. We leave the door to the fenced-in backyard open for much of the day, and he occasionally goes out when he feels like it. However, he prefers staying in the house. He is not a huge fan of hiking in the hills, but enjoys it more when other dogs are present. Overall, he seems extremely happy and gets excited to see all 3 of us when each of us come home or wake up.
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
