Brief Bio:

Joyce was one of the many strays left on the streets abandoned as a puppy or born into the streets. Poor Joyce was severely emaciated, suffering from demodex mange, secondary skin infection, and was also pregnant. Joyce would wait everyday for a chance to get some food from passing people willing to spare her some crumbs. Thankfully we were able to get this sweet girl off the streets and to the vet for a full check up and treatment. Joyce gave birth to 11 puppies unfortunately none of them survived. After a long recovery Joyce was finally healthy and has now found her loving forever home! Joyce has come a very long way but he is now getting all the love she deserves! Thank you to all our amazing sponsors and supporters for making Joyce’s rescue possible!

Hi Melody, Joyce (now Jetta) is the sweetest, most loving, gentle dog I have ever met. I am amazed at how smart and how fast she has adjusted to our family considering all that she has been through. Myself and my husband and my two girls are absolutely in love with her and we can’t thank your rescue enough. Her foster mom did such an amazing job with her and I’m so very grateful to everyone that pulled together to save her and bring her to the U.S. . This beautiful soul has absolutely has found her forever home with us. -Melissa
