No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
“Josie has been such a wonderful addition to our family. She is a total sweetheart and loves snuggling up to us as much as possible. She is still slowly getting used to walking on her leash (she easily gets distracted by all the city noises and smells), but despite her slow pace we see small improvements every day. Neighbors love stopping to say hi to Josie when we are out on our walks, and although she can be a bit timid at first, she quickly warms up and shows her playful personality. In between lots of puppy naps, Josie enjoys spending time in our backyard running around and playing fetch. She is also such a smart girl and picked up potty training very quickly. We are continuing to work toward mastering some basic commands and building her confidence day by day. We’re having a great time watching Josie explore the city and experience so many new things every day- she even recently went to the beach for the first time! In the short time we have had her, she has already brightened our lives in so many ways and we can’t wait for all the adventures to come! Thanks so much! Alicia & Dan”
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
