Brief Bio:

Meet Ernie! Ernie was rescued along with other puppies when they were found abandoned and scavenging for food in a dump site. Thankfully rescuers were able to make space and get them off the streets and into foster care. Ernie is a sweet pup who would love nothing more then to find a home. We are looking for a home that understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Ernie is patiently waiting for a forever home!

"Hi Melody, Things are great with Ernie, who we renamed to Bentley. He took a while to open up to us but now he’s very comfortable. We love seeing him grow everyday and experience everything. He’s still intimated by strangers, men and kids but never fearful or aggressive. He loves going to the dog park and running around with other dogs. He’s well behaved for a puppy though there’s a few things we’re working on with him. Bentley will be graduating from adolescent puppy class next week! Thanks for checking in and rescuing him!"

How to help?

If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
