No one said it would be easy, they only said it would be worth it.
Choonsam was rescued with his siblings in 2013. When he was found, he was in fatal state, suffering from Parvo, Corona, and heartworm, but now is all cured and healthy as ever, enjoying a good mount of walk everyday. Having recovered from heartworm though, he is strongly advised to not do any intense cardio exercises that can potentially put stress on his heart, and it will need consistent care throughout his life. He’s been in foster since this March, and is getting trained for indoor life and basic commands such as wait, lie, paw, etc. In general, he’s such a sweet boy to his foster family and other fur friends he meets at cafes and playgrounds. He will require re-training from beginning at his new furever-home, but has a great potential to become your perfect life-long companion!
If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
