Brief Bio:

Meet Chad! Chad was rescued with his siblings, Moel and Sekyong. He was rescued in October 2019 and has been fostered since. Being fostered at a home where there are also two other dogs, he is growing up to be a very amiable and playful dog. As much as he plays hard, he chills pretty hard too. He sleeps like a king whenever and wherever. With his foster mum, he couldn’t be more gentle and affectionate, and enjoys massages from her everyday. He is also well-adjusted at walking on a leash, and very responsive to treats. Chad is shy when meeting new people, but very sweet. It takes him a few treats to start opening up and within a day his personality starts to really shine. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Chad is patiently waiting!

"Iroh (formerly Chad and Yechan) is even more perfect for us than we could have imagined! From Day 1 (which included 6 hours of slumbering like an angel in the back seat on our drive back home to Humboldt) he has been the sweetest, cutest little gentleman. As you can see from the photos, he still manages to sleep anywhere and everywhere! Every day with him has brought so much joy and laughter, and his puppy enthusiasm continues to grow and shine! He's thoroughly charmed the 30+ people in my office as the new office puppy, has brunched like a pro, zooms around the yard with new doggo friends and stolen cat toys (which were promptly replaced with safer made-for-dogs versions), explored the redwood forest and trails just blocks from our house, and has avidly watched to learn how to play Dungeons & Doggos! Perhaps most impressive is that he's even working his magic on our cat Coraline, who while still skeptical and wanting some space from the new loud, energetic roommate, is very curious and warming up to him so much faster than we expected or could have hoped! We are so happy he has joined our little family and look forward to many more years of adorable antics and boundless love with this little guy. Working with Love & Second Chances has been a wonderful experience and we are so incredibly impressed by the dedication and passion demonstrated by you and the team. I have already highly recommended the rescue to several friends in the Bay Area who are ready to adopt! Thanks, Bridget"
