Meet Beckham! Beckham was rescued with his siblings, Brillian and Beck. The three pups were strays found wandering in a alleyway. When rescuers got to them, they were very skinny. The pups are very playful and ran right up to their rescuer. They have since been living at a foster home and received a clean bill of health! Beckham is very sweet and loves to play! He’s great with other dogs and enjoys a nice game of chase! We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Beckham is patiently waiting!

ADOPTED!

Hi Melody! With everything going on I’ve been working from home every day for the last two months-that being said, Beckham is incredibly well trained! Him and my 12 year old lab mix are thick as thieves, and she’s most definitely taught him all the best behaviors he knows (: I just started him on the the Farmer’s Dog food plan as he itches and chews hot spots quite frequently. He’s house trained with an accident maybe every 3 weeks or so, and he is very motivated to follow commands when treats are provided in return.

I’ve been getting in around 10,000 steps a day and he is always right there by my side.  He loves people, kids, and other dogs-pretty much everyone! Squeaky toys are his favorite, and I’m overjoyed that he is done with his “chewing on everything” phase! Please see attached photos (: look forward to continuing to refer your Rescue and working with you again in the future! Wishing you and your loved ones well during these unusual times, thanks Melody!

How to help?

If you have extra time on your hand and would like to help please consider volunteering! Rescue groups need dedicated volunteers to help with events, fundraisers, home checks, transports, etc. All of these things help enable the rescue to expand their network and help more dogs in need.
