Meet Onuri! Onuri is an adorable 3 years old terrier mix. He was rescued from a high kill local shelter in the morning of his schedule euthanasia day. The rescuer couldn’t let this innocent sweet guy disappear. Onuri is such a lovebug who is very friendly and sweet to people! It may take about a day for him to open up under new environments as he probably needs some time to explore the surroundings and people. But once opened up, he loves cuddling and hanging around with people on the couch.

Because he is on the quiet/shy side, he likes to enjoy his own privacy. He gets along well with his furry friends and likes to hang around with them. Onuri doesn’t have any aggressive bone in him.

He has no separation anxiety. Onuri stays pretty quiet during the daytime and is overall very mellow. He is also food motivated and loves to eat! Onuri still needs to learn how to walk on leash and does not know what toys are. With time we are sure he will start to play! Onuri responds well to his name and is very smart. He knows a few commands such as ‘wait’ and ‘come back’ in Korean. Onuri is ok with riding in the car.

An ideal home for Onuri will be a family who can devote their time to be with him and give him the love that has been missing in his life for a long time. A family without young kids would be ideal since he is very shy. We are looking for a home who is patient and willing to slowly show him that the world is not a scary place. Onuri is patiently waiting!
