Hi I’m Mocha! I’m 3 years old and am what you call a Liver Nose Shih Tzu. “Liver” describes the color of the skin and pigment on my nose, lips, eye rims, and paw pads. My coat is a beautiful reddish brown color.
I came to Love and Second Chances as an owner surrender. My fur was severely matted, I was not spayed, and was unvaccinated. But Love and Second Chances took care of all that and now I’m ready to go!
I am well socialized with other dogs and am learning to be around kids as well. I willingly sleep in my crate at night and don’t bother my foster humans until they decide it’s time to get up. I’m still trying to get the hang of potty training and leash training, but I’m trying hard and have the confidence I’ll nail it with your continued help.
I’m a big cuddle bug and would love to be on your lap as we both relax at the end of the day. I’m looking for a home that wants to invest in making me a great dog. Are you ready for that?
