Lily is the find of the century! She is an absolutely amazing dog, and her ideal home would be a quiet home without many changes. She would thrive as the sole dog in a home without children, where the owner will be around most of the time and dote on her and shower her with love and affection. Lily is a gorgeous dog that is very shy, sweet and curious. She will need some time, likely a few months, before she fully opens up to you, but once she does, she will light up your life. She recently started curling up next her current family on the bed and showering them with kisses. We hope she is placed in a home that allows her on couches and beds, as she loves to lay and nap on them. She also loves being in a yard and chasing squirrels. When walking her in public, she may be afraid / start shaking and will stay close to you for comfort, but she’s fine to go out in public so long as you are with her and close by. Over time, we’re confident this nervousness can change with the proper encouragement and love.
Lily can also be a scared dog in new environments, so it is important that her forever family is a stable home that will not have many changes and she can stick to a routine. The perfect home for Lily is a home where she will be the center of attention, without children, and with a family that will make her the center of their world and dote on her always – all of which she deserves in spades. She has the biggest heart and is simply the most precious being on the planet that deserves the world.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owing and raising a dog as a member of their family. Lily is patiently waiting!
