Meet Lenny a fluff ball of love and affection! He would make a great companion dog for pretty much anybody. He shares many personality traits with his namesake, Lenny from the TV show Laverne and Shirley (“Lenny is a loyal friend to Squiggy, kind-hearted, well-meaning, and hilarious character, whose naiveté and quirky personality make him an endearing, lovable and memorable part of the Laverne & Shirley cast”)
Lenny is sweet, submissive, and tender-hearted. He is the perfect size for any home. Lenny will let you brush him and trim his nails. He loves to be touched and petted. His asymmetrical ears are the cutest thing, making him such a unique boy. Lenny can be a silly, playful little dog, but will also lie at your feet. He is good with strangers as long as they don’t approach too fast or in a loud manner. He spent most of his life in a small cage/kennel and was not exposed to much, so he is working on being less skittish out in the big, wide world. His foster mom takes him for walks twice a day to get him used to all the new sights and sounds. Lenny is a very curious little dog and is constantly checking things out around the house.
Lenny is not very food motivated; he doesn’t really know what a treat is, and he nibbles at his meals throughout the day. His foster mom thinks he will become more treat-motivated as he learns about all the yummy things he has been missing out on. He does like toys, especially soft ones he can grab and shake. His favorite toy right now is an old frayed tug rope that his foster brother doesn’t play with anymore.
