Hi! My name is Bogey. If sweet, affectionate, and playful is what you are looking for in a new member of your family, I’m your guy! Your lap is my favorite place to be after a day full of adventures.
My past isn’t pretty but its what made me what I am today, and that’s good! I, along with my brothers and sister, were discovered by one of Love and Second Chances’ volunteers. We were not being cared for in a way puppies deserve. After a nice bath and some tender loving care I emerged as a handsome prince, ready for a new home.
Squeaky stuffies are a passion of mine. I’m known to walk around with my chosen stuffie in my mouth then lay my head on it like it’s a pillow. I get along well with other dogs and am great at greeting those I see on my walks. Car rides are also a passion: I love them!
I may be a big puppy, but I’m very gentle around children. My foster family includes 2 young children that love to play and cuddle with me. Could it be cos I’m soft and snuggly? I walk so well on a leash that my 6 year old foster human walks me easily. Crate trained? Yep. I willingly go right into my crate when it’s bedtime. Potty trained? Check that one off as well. If I need to go, I’ve got my foster humans trained to open the door for me.
