Meet Zorro! Zorro is an adorable 2.5 year old Beagle. He is an extremely warm and affectionate dog who loves snuggling up with humans! He warms up to people immediately and loves the attention he gets from everyone. He’s super treat motivated, fast at learning basic commands/tricks and an obedient dog in general. He’s not much of a runner but does enjoy his walks quite a bit. His foster home often takes him on long hikes and he enjoys those a lot so if you’re looking for a snuggle and walking buddy, Zorro is your answer! During his walks Zorro loves sniffing everything and if you don’t call him away, he won’t stop. He has more of a tracker personality and therefore will just sniff  but sniffing is all he does and doesn’t put random dirt/things on the ground in his mouth that much.

Zorro loves squeaky toys but responds more to treats! At home he loves lounging on his yoga mat and playing with his toys and napping. He gets super excited around other dogs and thus sometimes would want to bark/jump to express his excitement therefore he needs formal introduction when meeting new dogs. When getting to know Zorro, its best to walk during off-times so he doesn’t get over simulated.

As long as Zorro gets the exercise and love, he would be okay in any type of home either an apartment or house with a yard. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Zorro is patiently waiting!
