Meet Zinnia, aka Zinny! Zinnia is an adorable 4 year old Corgi. Zinny is an absolute sweetheart of a girl. Although she’s four years old, she has the zest for life like a new puppy. She’s extremely affectionate, loves being outside, and very curious about her environment. She exhibits no signs of aggression but can be shy before she gets to know you. After that though, she’ll be your shadow and best friend! She doesn’t seem to have any destructive habits but will nibble socks here and there. She is in need of basic training like recall, on leash walking, and potty training (her foster home only had a few accidents and she’s making quick progress). She also has a hard time negotiating stairs so she occasionally needs assistance ascending and descending them but again, she’s making quick progress.
Zinny would fit well in a home and with a family who have time and patience to train her properly. In the few days she’s been at her foster home, she shows signs of high intelligence and lovely disposition. Because she’s spent her whole life in a cage, she loves attention and will do well in a home that will give her the amount of attention she needs. We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning a dog. Zinnia is patiently waiting!
