Meet Wonda (aka Wondu)! Wonda is an adorable 3 year old Jindo mix. She was rescued at 6 months, found tied up on a mountain with no food or water. Some hikers would throw her some food just to keep her alive. When her rescuer and her friend found her she was very small and skinny and had missing patches of fur.

Her rescuer’s friend took Wonda home and gave her all the love she deserves. She was diagnosed with heartworm disease and it took 4months for the her treatment. She fought it off and is now a healthy happy girl!

Unfortunately her rescuer’s friend who cared for her for over 1.5 years passed away from a car accident. Wonda was moves to a private shelter where she has been since.

Wonda’s rescuer and first home cared for her very well and she is very well socialized with people and dogs. She walks well on leash, is house trained and crate trained. She has lots of energy and will need an active home.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family.
