Wendy

Meet Wendy! Wendy is a beautiful, playful 6 month old Jindo mix. She, along with her siblings, were rescued from the streets of Korea. She is a shy girl until she gets to know and trust you. Unfamiliar items (paper bags, vacuum, blow dryer, etc.) scare her until she decides for herself that they are harmless.
Wendy is very playful, capable of playing alone with her toys. She plays well with other dogs, even dogs twice her size. Chasing birds are a favorite pastime of hers. Be prepared to supply lots of chew toys as absolutely she loves them. When not stressed, Wendy is food motivated and easily trained. She currently knows her name, responds to being told “no,” and knows how to come, sit, shake and “time for bed.” Wendy willingly goes into her crate at bedtime and sleeps through the night. She still pulls while on a leash, so she will require continued focus in that area. Once you get her in the car, she rides easily. We’ve been waiting for that first bark, but have only heard some muffled “woofs.”
She is a strong pup and likes to play using her front paws: take that into consideration when deciding if she is the right dog for your family. With a beautiful coat she commands attention from strangers. Adding to her personality, her right ear is still deciding whether it wants to be up or down.
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a puppy. Wendy is patiently waiting!
