Meet Tommy! Tommy is an adorable 3 year old miniature Poodle. He is the sweetest pup that melts in your arms when it’s time to cuddle. He loves to bond to his human and follow them around. He’s very friendly with humans and dogs. He loves to play with toys, playing fetch with balls is his favorite, but really he’ll play with any toy. He will play inside or outside and loves to chase things and will bring the ball back for you for endless rounds! He would love to play with another dog and would do really well with a playmate.

Tommy is a smart pup and knows, sit, wait and shake. He is very curious and if the front door is open he will be there guarding the home with his little barks and with any other foreign noise. He could likely benefit from additional training. He hasn’t completely warmed up to car rides yet, but he’s getting better.

The ideal home for Tommy will be a home where someone works from home and is able to train him through his separation anxiety, he will howl and cry but will eventually settle. Helping him build confidence will help this. He is good with his schedule in the morning, he goes for a short walk and then he eats breakfast at 9am, he’ll go for another usually longer walk in the middle of the day and then eat dinner around 5pm, after dinner he’ll do one last pee break before bed.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Tommy is patiently waiting!
