Meet Tofu! Tofu is an adorable 3.5 year old Great Pyrenees mix. He was adopted 2 1/2 years ago from a local shelter in Dublin, CA.  He was found on the streets wandering in Hayward, CA. Unfortunately his family can no longer keep him and is looking for a new home for sweet Tofu!

Tofu is a low energy dog, 30-45 minutes walk twice a day is good for him. He walks great on leash and does not pull.  Tofu is not interested with small dogs, but will go up to sniff if they bark.  Otherwise, he ignores most dogs.  He likes to play with big dogs and would do best with other friendly dogs. If big dogs bark at him, rarely he will growl.

If Tofu is alone to himself, he will bark at noises.  If a human is present, he does not bark.  Sometime he likes to jump on people, using a form “No” calms him down.  He has no food aggression, rides in the car well. Tofu is an indoor dog and he does not like to stay outside for a long time.  He is not destructive and loves to be around his people.

We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Tofu is patiently waiting!
