Meet Timmy!
Timmy is a small, affectionate, and attention-seeking pup who adores being around his people. From the moment he arrived, he formed a strong bond with his human, always keeping a watchful eye on their movements and soaking up all the love and attention he can get. He’s a great eater, enjoying a mix of kibble and homemade congee with chicken or beef, and he’s maintaining a healthy weight (currently around 5.7–5.8kg). His potty training is coming along well—he consistently does his business outside, and his indoor accidents have significantly improved with frequent potty breaks every four hours.
Full of curiosity and energy, Timmy can sometimes get a little too excited, especially when overstimulated. He’s very comfortable when someone is home, but being left alone is still a challenge for him. While he’s made great progress with crate training—staying inside for longer periods and learning to settle after some time—he still finds it tough when no one is around. That said, if someone is home, he’s happy to relax in his crate, whether the door is open or closed.
Timmy has been making strides in socialization, too! He’s attended daycare a few times and did great—he tends to follow the staff around more than actively playing with other dogs, but he’s very comfortable in group settings. He recently went on his first road trip to Santa Rosa and handled hotel stays and car rides like a champ. His first full bath went smoothly, though he’s not the biggest fan of towel drying.
Overall, Timmy is a sweet and loving companion who thrives on attention and structure. With continued training in crate time, potty habits, and socialization, he’s on his way to becoming a well-balanced and confident pup.
Timmy would do best in a home where he isn’t left alone for long periods. More than anything, he just wants love and affection. He absolutely adores being the center of attention, so he would be thrilled to be the only dog in the family. That said, he’s also doing well sharing love with his foster brother. No matter where he ends up, Timmy is sure to bring lots of joy and companionship to his forever home!
We are looking for a home who understands the responsibilities of owning and raising a dog as a member of their family. Timmy is patiently waiting!
